The Marine body: a classic with a twist

The sailor's jacket... It all began on 27 March 1858 when a decree introduced it into the official list of sailor's outfits of the French Navy. But its destiny was much broader...

It began to take shape when Coco, during the First World War, launched her short sailor shirts in the Chanel boutique in Deauville...

The sailor's jacket will then bring the fashion world to its feet and will be revisited from every angle, notably by Jean-Paul Gaultier for decades.

Today, the marinière is much more than just blue stripes on a white background. It is a real political symbol representing the fight for the made in France... (yes, we all think of the same picture!)

That's why we at Flair decided to revisit it in a body version, obviously 100% made in France

We present it to you in a blue and white bodysuit: classic but with 4cm of shoulder pads. Just enough to assert a squared silhouette and a look that will not be forgotten. It's the details that count!
